The Dr. World pageant is dedicated to advancing education, supporting women globally, and applying mentorship through community service and professional development. The charity of choice of Dr. World 2021, Dr. Angel Bhathal, is the Because I Am A Girl initiative, as she was inspired by her grandmother and mother to advocate for equal access to education for women and girls globally where gender literacy gaps still exist.
Alongside with her sister queens (Dr. USA - Dr. Michelle, Dr. America - Dr. Daneka, Ms. World Achievement - Dr. Tiffany) and the official pageant director (Dr. Diana Lawrence), with diverse backgrounds in law, education, medicine, and pharmacy, the Dr. World family will be providing useful tips to help support women in their careers through tips on resume, cover letters, interview, appearance, and social media. Additionally, 100% of the event proceeds will be donated to Because I Am A Girl initiative to provide girls globally with the right to learn, eat, and access healthcare.
Individual Tax Receipts can be issued only to those who make a $25 donation or greater, with a Canadian address. A link to the webinar will be provided shortly upon donation.
Plan International Canada's institutional partners will generously match any donations made to this initiative 4:1 to offer maximum impact.
