In recognition of her amazing 36-year career with the City of Mississauga, you are invited to donate in Cammie’s name to the Plan International Canada initiative “Gift of Hope—Send a Girl to School.”

During Cammie's tenure with the City of Mississauga, she has focused on promoting active and healthy lifestyles to all age groups. This initiative aligns with that purpose, as it addresses the practical, everyday challenges faced by millions of girls—such as early marriage, increased risk of violence and exploitation, and a lack of access to life-saving food, education, and healthcare—simply because they are girls. These inequalities are not just concepts; they are real, life-threatening challenges that hold children back.

Cammie and her family have become passionate about this cause, which focuses on advancing children's rights and equality for girls. They stand with children, especially girls, wherever they are oppressed, exploited, left behind, or not equally valued.

As Cammie transitions into the next chapter of her life, her focus will continue to spend quality time with those females who are near and dear to her heart, including her two daughters, three granddaughters, three nieces, four great-nieces, and two sisters!
