Girls in many parts of the world have the desire to continue their studies, but not the means. This gift supplies that part of the equation. It provides girls in developing countries with the support they need to carry on with their schooling.

School – and equality – are now in session for girls like Hadjara of Niger, one of nearly 170,000 girls who have a chance at education and all the doors it opens, thanks to donors who chose to send a girl to school through this gift. “I do not want to leave school ever,” shares Hadjara. “I would like to become a development aid worker so I can help other children in need, in return,” she adds, inspired by Canadians’ generosity, and committed to ensuring the Gift of Hope she received will keep on giving.
