Together, Albertsons Companies and Plan International Canada have come together to help those that survived the earthquake in Syria and Turkey with much-needed support.

This is the largest earthquake the region has experienced in over a century and has claimed thousands of lives and left many more injured and lacking basic resources as their homes have been destroyed. With it being winter, the risk to life for those without adequate shelter or protection is especially high.

We have launched an appeal to help provide much-needed support for survivors of the earthquake in Syria who find themselves displaced during this crisis. Our support, which is being led by Plan International Lebanon, will focus on providing children and families with:

1. Shelter, mattresses, blankets, and materials to stay warm.
2. Food, water, and fuel to help reach those in remote locations.
3. Medicines and hygiene kits, including menstrual health products.
4. Access to safe spaces and protection from violence.
